A thing I do.

So Stumptown was pretty neat. Sold a couple books. Thanks to everyone who spent money on me. Especially the dude who bought the original Darth Cubone art. That blew me away. And thanks to everyone who I threw bookmarks and free copies of Bang at who have come by and looked at the website. I hope you like what you see enough to stick around, because I have cooler things coming. Totally.

Also, if you haven’t, you should check out Mei K’s stuff. We sat next to her, and she does some wonderful adorable work. Sorry I didn’t talk to you really at all!

Hey dudes and dudettes! I totally just threw together a fun little set of drawings of some Pokémon dressed up as characters from Star Wars. Because it was the nerdiest thing I could conceive to do at the time, apparently. I threw it over on Flickr just in case the universe thinks it’s awesome as I do and it manages to get picked up by some blog somewhere, that way it doesn’t totally rape my bandwidth. Anyways, go and check it out.

Speaking of things that would matter if anyone knew who I was but no one does so it doesn’t, I am officially at table #46 at the Stumptown Comics Fest this weekend. Y’know, because there are totally people reading this who know of me and aren’t already my friends who live here and aren’t going. Totally.

Well, I was going to sit on this until after Stumptown, but it’s been online already for those in the know, and I was bored and aching for something to do web-design-wise tonight, so my short story Bang (along with the short stories section of the website) is now officially live. If you’re reading this now you’ve probably already read it, but now at least if you want to reread it you don’t have to dig back.

Also up and running are proper little archives. You can see them over there in the sidebar. ->

Fancy, huh?

And with that, tranive.ca sees its first relaunch. Truth be told, I was pretty unhappy with the site design as it was. Seemed very early-2000s to me. Kinda like a bad LiveJournal theme or something. And the pages for the comics never really worked or looked how I wanted. Now, they do. I think the whole place has a more cohesive feel, and things are easier to browse around, and that’s awesome.

To add to the fun, I have added a new section! The weak of constitution may wish to avert their eyes, but Ballpoint Days has been unleashed upon the unsuspecting world. Things will never be the same.

Ballpoint Days is a collection of the random bullshit doodles that I do throughout my day, normally quickly scrawled on a piece of scrap paper while in the bathroom or on my break at work. There is no theme to them, and most of them involve some form of nudity/crudity. Some of them I like, some of them I hate, but I am not censoring myself with this section, no matter what. You have been warned.

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the very first Doctor Octopus-for-a-Hand story is alive and kicking. Start reading the 4-pager right here!
